It maybe just over a week since the tree, lights and decorations came down but the team behind the scenes here at UK Christmas World start all over again in selecting new and exciting products for Christmas 2014.
The start of January sees the big annual trade show at the International Exhibition Centre in Harrogate. All the main suppliers have spent over a week setting up wonderful displays, ready to showcase their range to the retail buyers from across the country.
Both retailers, wholesalers, internet retailers, mail order catalogues and TV shopping will all place orders based on what they see at the Harrogate Christmas Fair.
Premier's Remote Controlled – Nite Lights
Nite Lights are the latest in LED innovation and introduce the technology used within our battery powered timer lights to low voltage lights, with the addition of a remote control.
Nite Lights key features:
- Light sensitive sensor – the lights will turn on automatically at dusk
- Built in timer function – 6 hours on and 18 hours off with a daily repeat
- Both functions can be used independently or together giving a total of 4 modes
- Remote control – allows you to control all 8 functions, the timer and the light sensor remotely
This coming Christmas we also hope to introduce this technology into our battery powered lights too giving you a lot more flexibility and enjoyment when creating your light display.
Nite Lights will be available in LED string lights, icicle lights and cluster lights.
Battery Powered Timer Lights
One of our most popular items will certainly back this coming Christmas. Battery powered timer lights can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors and with a built in memory controller once set will automatically turn on for 6 hours each evening, and then off for 18.
Using a flashing sequence on the lights a branded set of alkaline batteries should last for up to 30 days before they need to be changed. If the lights are kept on static the batteries will need to be replaced more often.
Battery powered timer lights are perfect for brightening up areas of the home and garden where power may not be available and of course are extremely eco friendly.
Fibre Optic Christmas Tapestries
The launch of the fibre optic tapestry in 2012 was one of the most successful innovations in Christmas décor in the last 10 years.
The artist Thomas Kincade proved to be a popular hit with his famous works of art including 'Home for the Holidays' and 'Family At Deer Creek'.
All our fibre optic tapestries are handmade and fitted with hundreds of small fibre optic lights. These lights are powered by a small battery pack which sits snugly in a pouch on the back of the tapestry and can be easily accessed when the time comes to change the batteries.
Each tapestry comes with its own wooden batten and wall fixing brackets and sturdy box which enables the tapestry to be carefully rolled up and stored away once the festive season is over.
